It's officially Summer season, full of BBQs, sun and feel good! If you're finding yourself indulging in your alcoholic beverage of choice most weekends, take a peak at this delicious list of low calorie drink options...
#1: Hard Seltzers
These spiked seltzers have seen a huge spike in sales of 200 percent from 2017 to 2018. Obviously I'm not the only one (Coach Corinne) that love these light, refreshing spritzers! Not only are they low calorie, only 0-2 carbohydrates per can (12oz), but they are also delicious, with flavors ranging from citrus/lime to pear/elderberry. Plus its 5% alcohol per/vol.
#2: Cucumber Vodka Tonic
This delightful low calorie libation is refreshing and has a kick. Cucumber is known to be hydrating to help counteract the alcohol. Start with 1 shot distilled vodka, muddle 2 slices of cucumber in the vodka, add ice and top off with 6-12oz of diet tonic, plus garnish with cucumber and lemon. Calories approx 60-80.
#3: Fit Vine Wines
There's a new wino friend in town and her name is "Fit-Vine!" With an assortment of blends, from pinot noir to chardonnay, there are options for the winos watching their waistline. Depending on your palette, you can find your fave and with only 2.5-3.9g of carbs and 100 calories per 5oz glass. Cheers!
