Red Light Therapy Bed

The Trifecta Light Therapy Bed operates an all encompassing light system. These specialized wavelengths penetrate the skin, kickstarting a cascade of mitochondrial activation benefits.

This accelerates cellular energy production, facilitating the body’s innate natural healing mechanisms allowing for whole body rejuvenation.

Trifecta Light Therapy Bed sessions provide a relaxing, non-invasive and comprehensive experience of rejuvenation.

Healing Benefits of Red Light Therapy (RLT):

  • Reduced Inflammation: RLT can decrease inflammation and promote muscle recovery, making it popular among athletes.

  • Pain Relief: It is used to manage chronic pain conditions such as arthritis and joint pain.

  • Collagen Production: RLT can stimulate collagen production, which helps reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.

  • Wound Healing: It accelerates the healing process of wounds and can reduce scarring.

  • Acne Treatment: Red light has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce acne and promote clearer skin.

  • Hair Growth: RLT has been shown to stimulate hair growth in individuals with androgenetic alopecia and other forms of hair loss.

  • Improved Circulation: RLT can enhance blood circulation, which helps in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tissues, promoting overall health and healing.

  • Mood Enhancement: Exposure to red light can influence mood and is sometimes used in the treatment of depression and seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

Cold Plunge

Cold plunging is the act of submerging your body in cold water and has been taught in natural and traditional medicine for thousands of years.

At the Trifecta Healing Lounge we recommend the cold plunge as the second module, after the warm infrared light therapy bed and before the infrared or ozone saunas. Contrast healing of heat to cold and back to heat is an important concept for ultimate wellness.

Benefits of cold plunging:

  • Reduces muscle soreness and inflammation:  Cold water constricts blood vessels, slowing blood flow to reduce swelling and alleviate soreness after exercise.

  • Improves circulation:  The body's response to cold involves blood vessels constricting and then dilating, which can improve circulation over time.

  • Boosts metabolism:  Cold exposure can activate brown fat, a type of fat that burns calories to generate heat, potentially leading to a temporary increase in metabolism.

  • Enhances immune function:  Some research suggests cold exposure may stimulate the production of white blood cells, which can help fight off infections.

Mental health benefits

  • Boosts mental focus:  The surge of noradrenaline from cold exposure can improve focus and alertness.

  • Improves mood:  Cold water can trigger the release of endorphins and noradrenaline, hormones that act as natural mood boosters and improve mental alertness.

  • Reduces stress and anxiety:  The shock of cold water is a stressor that may desensitize the nervous system to other stressors, and studies have linked cold showers to decreased depressive symptoms.

Woman in a Sauna

Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas are a relaxing way to acheive detoxification and overall wellness. The heat from the infrared panels encourages the body to produce a deep sweat, thus encouraging the body's natural way to eliminate toxins. All the while, the specialized  infrared light vibrates at a wavelength that "shakes" the cells, stimulating cellular repair, lipolysis (fat cell death) and many other benefits.

Infrared sauna sessions last from 15-30 minutes depending on your needs and health conditions.

Benefits of Infrared Saunas:

  • Pain and inflammation relief:  Infrared light penetrates deep into tissues, increasing circulation and oxygen delivery, which can reduce muscle and joint stiffness and inflammation.

  • Improved circulation:  The heat dilates blood vessels, leading to better blood flow and delivery of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.

  • Detoxification:  The heat causes sweating, which helps the body release toxins through the skin, while the infrared light wavelength encourages deeper cellular revitalization..

  • Cardiovascular support:  Due to blood vessel dilation, the nutrients and detoxifying infrared can travel throughout the body and heart, providing cardiovascular benefits. Some studies showing a positive effect on blood pressure and the cardio of light exercise, with regular sauna use.

  • Enhanced skin health:  The improved circulation and detoxification can lead to clearer, healthier-looking skin. Near-infrared light, in particular, can help stimulate collagen production, which supports skin elasticity and repair over time.

  • Relaxation and stress reduction:  Infrared sauna studies show lower cortisol levels and relaxation with regular sauna use, which can lead to improved sleep quality and a greater sense of well-being.

  • Immune support: Some research suggests that sauna bathing can boost immune function, potentially by stimulating white blood cell production.

Separate from the Trifecta Rejuvenation Stations and available at the Lounge:

Ozone Steam Sauna

Ozone steam saunas are a natural medicine practice that combines steam with ozone gas (O3) to promote detoxification, boost circulation, and stimulate the immune system.

During a session, a person sits in an enclosed, individual steam cabinet with their head exposed to the open air to prevent inhalation of the ozone gas. The humid heat from the steam opens the pores, which allows the ozone gas to be absorbed through the skin and enter the bloodstream and lymphatic system.

The reactive ozone molecules oxidize and potentially neutralize toxins, pathogens, tumor cells, or other harmful substances that may be lingering in the body.

Potential benefits of Ozone Steam Saunas:

  • Detoxification: The combined effect of sweating from the steam and the oxidative properties of ozone may help the body eliminate toxins, heavy metals, and waste products from the lymphatic system.

  • Immune system support: Ozone, in many studies, shows the promotion of white blood cells, thus aiding in its ability to activate and strengthen the immune system.

  • Improved  oxygenation and mental focus: The ozone is a highly available oxygen delivery system to the cells, tissues, and organs, potentially promoting mental focus in the long run.

  • Joint healing and muscle relaxation: The warm steam and bioavailability of the ozone in direct contact with your body, muscles, and joints may help to soothe sore muscles, speed up the healing process of injured joints, tendons and tissues.

  • Treatment for specific conditions: In natiural medicine, ozone therapy is found in many studies to assist in the healing of chronic conditions such as Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and tumor cell apoptosis.
