History of Red Light : For thousands of documented years of human history, we have been cogniscent of the healing properties of light.

Ancient cultures around the globe worshipped the sun, understanding, even in our infancy as a species, the power of it's light.
Even Indian Hindu texts, written approximately 3000 years confirm healing modalities in certain medicinal applications.
In more recent history of the 18th century, medical literature on the power of sunlight to treat an array of different diseases was reported.
In the 1960s, an oncology researcher realized the skin wounds, around implanted hamster tumors, healed dramatically faster in those being treated with the red light lasers, than compared to the animals not being treated with the light.

Then came NASA in the 1990s, initially using red light LED technology for the purposes of growing plants during shuttle missions, soon discovered that these lights also affected human cells. NASA started testing and refining the technology with the idea to use it to help astronauts maintain muscle and bone mass, as well as to treat chronic wounds.
These observations led to the development of Low-level laser therapy (LLLT), now known as "photobiomodulation," which utilizes red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular processes and promote healing.
Fast-forward to today’s world, with thousands of studies and proven benefits, this technology is on the cusp of exploding in popularity.
Healing Benefits of Red Light Therapy:

Reduced Inflammation: RLT can decrease inflammation and promote muscle recovery, making it popular among athletes.
Pain Relief: It is used to manage chronic pain conditions such as arthritis and joint pain.
Improved Circulation: RLT can enhance blood circulation, which helps in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tissues, promoting overall health and healing.
Mood Enhancement: Exposure to red light can influence mood and is sometimes used in the treatment of depression and seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
Hair Growth: RLT has been shown to stimulate hair growth in individuals with androgenetic alopecia and other forms of hair loss.
Collagen Production: RLT can stimulate collagen production, which helps reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.
Wound Healing: It accelerates the healing process of wounds and can reduce scarring.
Acne Treatment: Red light has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce acne and promote clearer skin.
The NEW Trifecta Light Therapy Bed at Longevity Health Clinic:
We are happy to introduce our new addition: The "Trifecta Light Bed". This comprehensive and non-invasive system is made up of 4,700 “high intensity” LEDs which target the entire body at one time.

The Trifecta Light Therapy Bed operates an all encompassing light system with optimum refraction and wavelengths. This leads to a much higher rate of absorption (up to 70%) of light during each session.
These specialized wavelengths penetrate the skin, kickstarting a cascade of mitochondrial activation benefits. This accelerates cellular energy production, facilitating the body’s innate natural healing mechanisms allowing for whole body rejuvenation.
Trifecta Light Therapy Bed sessions provide a relaxing, non-invasive and comprehensive experience of rejuvenation at Longevity Health clinic.

We are now offering one complimentary Trifecta Light Bed session for up to 10 clients to experience for yourself the healing properties of red and infrared light.
